I thought I had moved past this with my children, but apparently not. Someone once told me that a dogs second year of life is in many ways more difficult than the first, because the first year they're really puppies and they need to sleep a lot, but the second year they don't need as much sleep and they get bored really really fast, then go looking for trouble. Case in point:
Exhibit A:
This was once a nicely folder group of innocent napkins. They didn't mean any harm, they were just sitting there collecting dust on top of the breakfast room table.
Exhibit B:
MY SHOE, in fact... my FAVORITE shoe, which had mysteriously joined the defeated napkins on top of the kitchen table!
Exhibit C:
The screen door, which has now been customized into our very own doggy door. I beg you, don't go to the store and buy an expensive doggy door, just make your own. Daisy will show you how.
Exhibit D:
"I didn't see nuthin'. I've been here all day, sleepin'" Which, I want you to know I would have believed had it not been for the white napkin sticking out of the corner of her mouth (extracted prior to her photo shoot)
It's a good thing she's cute.
