This blog re-started as a photography blog, sharing tips and tricks, session photos, etc. and I've complete gotten away from that lately. If anyone has any questions about photography or photoshop, I'll be happy to try and answer them. I heartily admit to not knowing everything (far from it), but I can make stuff up and have it sound like I do. ;-)
I did stop doing photo sessions for three main reasons:
1) Time - there's just not enough of it
2) I'm shy by nature, always have been, and I struggle with meeting new people, I get terrified they'll come away thinking - this woman has no idea what she's doing
3) And lastly I'm not sure my style of photography is really what people are looking for. My style being natural and unposed. I like to catch kids running, I like to catch hubby giving his wife a secret look when he doesn't know I'm watching, I like to catch families just being families and not structured and tense and I never know if I communicated that well enough.
Anyway, I'm happy just having an opportunity to practice and get better at this craft. I do so love photography, I think I would be happiest sitting on a park bench and taking photos of life as it happens around me.

I LOVE your style of photography! I just wish I lived close enough to you to try and talk you in to taking some photos of my little one. But, Nebraska is probably too far for a road trip, eh!

I think photography is very cut throat these days and the best photographers aren't always the ones getting the business. I do understand where you're coming from. We still want you to take Tess photo someday and we will continue to enjoy what you do post - your beautiful girls and that hilarious dog at minimum. ; )

Julila I find it hard to believe anyone could not like your style, every photo I have ever seen is lovely. They have life captured in them... I love to capture the same natural looks of my children and know exactly what you are speaking of but of course I have not gained the knowledge you have yet. Thank you for continuing to share.
